Windows Mail Setup

Windows Mail is the successor to Outlook Express and comes with Windows Vista.

This page demonstrates how to set up Windows Mail to work with IMAP, the preferred protocol for working with Net Easy's email.

The crucial settings needed:

• Your user name must be your entire email address
• Incoming server is mail.neteasyinc.com
• Outgoing server is smtp.neteasyinc.com
• You must use authentication for outgoing mail (you may tell it to use the same settings as your incoming server)
• Recommended port is 587 for outgoing mail.
