How to set up your IMAP account in Thunderbird

  1. Open Thunderbird. If you've just installed Thunderbird, do not follow the setup wizard that starts automatically upon finishing the installation. Cancel the wizard and follow the instructions below; otherwise the screen shots will not match.
  2. Click “Tools” then click “Account Settings.”
