How to set up your IMAP account in Outlook
2. Click “Tools” then click E-mail Accounts.
(Note: If you have not set up Outlook before, you may be asked to go through the wizard. In this case just click “Cancel" or "No.”)
3. Select “View or change existing e-mail accounts” then click “Next.”
4. Click “Add.”
5. Select “IMAP” then click “Next.”
6. Insert into “Your Name” the name you wish people to see when they receive your e-mail.
7. Insert your E-mail address in both “Email Address” and “User Name” fields.
8. Insert your password into the "Password."
9. “Incoming mail server (IMAP):” is “mail.neteasyinc.com”
10. “Outgoing mail server (SMTP):” is “smtp.neteasyinc.com”
11. Click “More Settings.”
12. Click the tab for “Outgoing Server” and check the box for “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.”
13. Click the tab for "Advanced" and change the Outgoing Server (SMTP) port from 25 to 587. To understand the importance of using port 587, see the information here.
14. Click "OK," then click "Next," then click Finish.
Your Email is now downloaded to the mail.neteasyinc.com inbox folder, and all folders inside your inbox will be synchronized with your webmail and any other email application you set up.
